DC Map in Sterling with a Stylized River Edge

I love water.  I love where water meets land.
I love Washington, DC and the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. 

So...I made this DC map pendant to honor this place.

But wait, I also love the Chesapeake Bay and I have used sand tracked home from my swims (be grateful you cannot see the inside of my car) to create the texture on the back side of each map. I have shared an example of this random texture in the photos.

The abstracted water's edge was made using an antique die having swirls and curls.
Each DC Map was hand fabricated and no two are exactly alike.

• Neck Chain: 18-inch commercially available paper clip style sterling chain
